Cigweld Autocraft Ni-Cr-Mo MIG Wire 15kg

The Cigweld Autocraft Ni-Cr-Mo MIG Wire 15kg is a premium low alloy ER110S-G solid MIG wire engineered for the all-positional Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) of high strength steels. Designed to produce weld deposits in the 760 MPa tensile class, this wire delivers outstanding mechanical strength, impact toughness and reliability in demanding structural applications.

Autocraft Ni-Cr-Mo is suitable for short-arc, spray and pulsed arc transfer modes and is compatible with Argon-based shielding gases or welding grade CO₂.

High Strength, Low Alloy Performance

This wire produces a low alloy weld deposit containing approximately:

• 1.40% Nickel
• 0.40% Chromium
• 0.25% Molybdenum
• 0.10% Vanadium

These alloying elements enhance strength, hardenability and toughness, making Autocraft Ni-Cr-Mo suitable for medium to high strength quenched and tempered steels.

Using Ar + 1–3% O₂:

• Yield Strength: 730 MPa
• Tensile Strength: 790 MPa
• CVN Impact: 130 J @ -29°C

Using Ar + 18–25% CO₂:

• Yield Strength: 707 MPa
• Tensile Strength: 770 MPa
• CVN Impact: 72 J @ -29°C

Diffusible hydrogen levels are typically 1.0–2.0 ml/100g, supporting reduced risk of hydrogen cracking.

Autocraft Ni-Cr-Mo is recommended for:

• Quenched and tempered steels
• Bisalloy 80
• USS-T1 types
• Welten 80C
• High strength structural steel fabrication

It is suitable for all positional fillet and butt welding, except where post-weld stress relieving is required.
