The Trafimet Ergoplus 15 MIG Gun (Air-Cooled) is designed to deliver reliable welding performance while maximising operator comfort and control. Built to meet the demands of fabrication workshops and maintenance environments, the Ergoplus series combines advanced ergonomics with durable construction for improved welding efficiency and reduced operator fatigue.

The updated ERGOPLUS design focuses on the natural grip and positioning of the welder’s hand. The handle features a two-component construction combining rubber and durable plastic to provide a comfortable and secure grip. Rubber-textured sections are strategically positioned on both the top and underside of the handle where the hand naturally rests, allowing precise torch control during welding.

The handle design follows the natural triangular positioning of the human hand, improving balance and comfort during extended welding sessions. This ergonomic design helps reduce strain and allows the operator to maintain consistent torch positioning for better weld quality.

Performance improvements have also been made to enhance durability and welding efficiency. The torch includes a sealed micro-switch with IP67 protection, ensuring reliable operation even in challenging workshop environments. A flexible EPDM connector provides increased durability while improving cable flexibility for easier torch movement.

The torch head design reduces operating temperature, helping extend the life of consumables and improve overall reliability. The Ergoplus torch also features a detachable pistol grip handle, included as standard, allowing users to customise the torch setup for improved comfort in different welding positions.

For added convenience, spare parts are compatible with Binzel-style MIG consumables, making replacement parts widely available and easy to source.
