Description
Hobart FabCO 811N1 Flux-Cored MIG Wire
Hobart FabCO 811N1 is a premium-quality rutile flux-cored MIG welding wire designed for superior performance in demanding applications. Featuring an improved slag system, it combines the superior welder appeal of acid slag (-T1) products with the mechanical properties commonly associated with basic slag wires. The wire’s low weld metal diffusible hydrogen levels and high impact strength at low temperatures make it ideal for use in heavy equipment fabrication, weathering steel applications, and structural projects where mechanical reliability is critical.
Key Features:
- Enhanced Weldability: Combines the ease of use and appeal of acid slag products with the toughness of basic slag wires.
- Low Hydrogen Content: Minimizes the risk of hydrogen-induced cracking, even in demanding conditions.
- High Impact Strength: Delivers high impact values even at low temperatures, making it suitable for extreme environments.
- Versatile Application: Suitable for welding in all positions with excellent arc stability and smooth bead appearance.
Typical Applications:
The Hobart FabCO 811N1 is designed for a variety of demanding applications, including:
