Cigweld Comweld AL5356 TIG Wire – R5356 Aluminium TIG Rod

Comweld Comweld AL5356 TIG Wire is a high-quality aluminium rod containing nominal 5% magnesium, designed for both Gas and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG) applications. Ideal for welding a wide range of cast and wrought aluminium alloys, including 3XXX, 5XXX, and 6XXX series, this filler rod provides excellent corrosion resistance, intermediate deposit strength, and good ductility. Manufactured in accordance with AS 1167.2, AWS A5.10, and EN ISO 18273, it meets international standards and is DNV approved when used with welding-grade argon.

With superior surface cleanliness to minimise porosity and post-anodising colour tinting white, the Comweld AL5356 ensures high-quality welds suitable for structural, marine, and general aluminium fabrication. Supplied in 2.5kg packs (15kg cartons), each rod is clearly embossed for traceability.
