The CEA MIG Maxi 506i Package is a premium-grade industrial MIG-MAG welding solution built to meet the most demanding fabrication and manufacturing requirements. The Maxi 506i represents the next generation in inverter-based MIG technology, replacing outdated step-regulated systems with a fully digital, high-efficiency solution. Built for high-output applications, it offers a current range of 20–500A, making it ideal for welding thicker materials and performing heavy-duty fabrication tasks. With an open circuit voltage of 56V and excellent arc characteristics, the machine ensures consistent penetration and superior weld quality across mild steel, stainless steel, and more.
The Maxi 506i is optimised for industrial use with duty cycles of 330A at 100%, 400A at 60%, and 500A at 35%, all measured at 40°C ambient temperature. Thanks to its energy-saving features, including intelligent fan operation and optional water cooling activation, this unit enhances efficiency while reducing power consumption. The robust power factor of 0.94/0.99, high efficiency rating of 0.87, and solid IP 23S protection class further reinforce its industrial reliability.
The WF 7 Wire Feeder complements the welder with its double-groove feed rollers, 2/4 stroke selector, and Fast Start Control (FSC) for rapid, clean arc ignition. This wire feed unit supports spools up to Ø300 mm, features a built-in inspection window, and is designed for smooth, stable wire delivery in every job.
