The CEA MIG Convex Mobile 255 Pulse Package is a compact, high-tech multi-process welding solution designed for precision, mobility, and premium performance across a variety of applications. This advanced inverter system combines MIG/MAG, MMA, and Lift TIG capabilities in a single, portable unit, making it ideal for on-site maintenance, automotive work, light fabrication, and high-quality metalwork involving aluminium and stainless steel.
What sets the Convex Mobile 255 Pulse apart is its integrated Pulse and Dual Pulse technology, which ensures superior arc control and reduced heat input—perfect for minimising distortion on thin materials. The inclusion of vision.PULSE and vision.ARC delivers real-time microprocessor-controlled arc stability, adapting dynamically to changes in the welding environment for clean, consistent results. Meanwhile, the vision.COLD process provides low heat transfer welding, ideal for thin sheet metal, galvanised materials, and MIG brazing.
Backed by three-phase 400V input power, the Convex Mobile 255 Pulse delivers a current range of 10–250A with outstanding duty cycles: 180A at 100%, 200A at 60%, and 250A at 35%, all at 40°C. A strong efficiency rating of 0.89 and power factor up to 0.99 further enhance energy performance, while the VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) boosts operator safety.
