Description
WIA OpticFX – Blue Knight Welding Helmet
The WIA OpticFX – Blue Knight is a high-performance welding helmet designed to provide welders with superior visibility, protection, and comfort. Featuring enhanced optic clarity, this helmet allows the user to see a full spectrum of colours, giving welders a clearer, more detailed view of the weld pool for improved precision.
The intuitive digital controls are easy to navigate, allowing for seamless adjustments to shade, sensitivity, and delay settings. With a large 100 x 60mm viewing area, the helmet offers an expansive field of vision, minimizing the need for head movement and providing a more comfortable experience during prolonged welding sessions.
Built to withstand the rigors of heavy-duty welding, the WIA OpticFX is certified to Australian Standards AS/NZS 1338.1 (Auto-Darkening) and AS/NZS 1337.1B (High Impact), ensuring it meets the strict safety requirements for professional applications. The helmet’s variable shade control (shade 9-13) offers versatility across multiple processes, including Stick, MIG, TIG, and Plasma cutting.
Designed for operator comfort, the helmet comes with fully adjustable headgear featuring a large back cushion and an extra top band for an optimal fit, weighing only 555g. The lightweight design reduces neck strain and fatigue, making it ideal for extended use. The helmet also includes built-in provisions for a magnifying lens (sold separately) to accommodate welders who require additional visual aid.
For added convenience, the OpticFX features a Grind Mode, allowing users to switch effortlessly between welding and grinding operations without changing helmets. The sensitivity control and four arc sensors ensure responsive lens adjustments for a consistent view, while the lens delay control allows welders to fine-tune the transition from dark to light state for high-amp applications.
Powered by replaceable batteries with solar-assist functionality, the helmet can deliver up to 1900 hours of interruption-free welding. The solar-assist cells absorb power from the arc while welding, ensuring the helmet is always ready when needed. Backed by a 3-year warranty, the WIA OpticFX – Blue Knight welding helmet is built to last and provides welders with the protection and reliability they need for professional and demanding applications.
