The Cigweld WeldSkill WELDit ALL 2.5mm Electrode – 1kg is a highly alloyed stainless steel electrode designed for versatility, offering exceptional crack resistance and superior performance when welding all types of steels. This electrode is ideal for repair and maintenance tasks, especially when the composition of the steel is unknown.

Featuring a rutile-type flux coating, the WELDit ALL electrode delivers smooth and stable welding in all positions (except vertical down). Its easy arc starting and excellent arc stability make it particularly well-suited for use with low open circuit voltage (O.C.V.) welding machines. Additionally, the weld deposit offers outstanding resistance to corrosion and oxidation, ensuring a reliable, long-lasting bond.

Recommended applications include joining dissimilar steels (such as stainless steel to carbon steel), repairing tool and die steels, providing protective overlays against corrosion, or acting as an intermediate buffer layer before hard surfacing. While highly versatile, the WELDit ALL electrode is not recommended for welding cast iron.
