Supre Glide AL5183 (ER5183) Aluminium MIG Wire

Supre Glide AL5183 is a premium quality aluminium welding wire manufactured in Italy, ideal for Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) of alloy 5083 and other magnesium-containing alloys. It is most commonly used in the marine and structural industries where high strength and fracture toughness are critical.

This wire is not heat-treatable and is specifically designed to provide superior surface cleanliness, which results in enhanced resistance to porosity and better weld integrity. With mechanical properties such as a tensile strength of 297 MPa and elongation of 16%, Supre Glide AL5183 delivers reliable performance under demanding conditions.
