The Lincoln Outershield 81Ni1-HSR 1.2mm Flux Cored MIG Wire is a gas-shielded FCAW wire designed for low alloy, critical and low temperature service requiring PWHT. This all positional 1% nickel wire is optimised to deliver consistent toughness in both the as-welded and PWHT condition down to -50°C.
It is suitable for use in prequalified welding procedures for steel group 8C as defined in AS/NZS 1554.1 Table 4.6.1, and is designed for demanding applications such as offshore structural fabrication, piping in sour service and pressure vessel fabrication.
