Inflatable Purge System
The Inflatable Purge System is designed to improve gas purging efficiency and withstand high-temperature welding environments. Constructed from fire-retardant “flameshield” Proban cotton, the system offers increased resistance to scorching and burning during hot passes. Reinforced stitching and crimping provide superior tear resistance, ensuring durability for repeated use in demanding applications.
This purge system features a robust armoured connection hose and a bypass hose for additional gas inlet and exhaustion, giving users precise gas control. Strong eyelet pull loops simplify positioning inside pipes, and the flow rate can be reduced to 5-10 lpm during hot passes to optimize gas consumption.
Available for pipe diameters ranging from 50 mm to 2438 mm (2″ to 96″), the system accommodates various applications. Special hose barb connections allow for easy connection to gas sources, making it an essential tool for professionals in welding, fabrication, and pipeline maintenance.
