The CEA TIG Matrix 2200 AC/DC Package is a high-performance TIG welding solution engineered for precision, versatility, and control across a wide range of metals—including aluminium and its alloys. Compact yet powerful, this advanced inverter power source is ideal for both industrial fabrication and maintenance applications requiring exceptional weld quality and low heat input.
With a TIG current range starting as low as 1A in DC and 3A in AC, the Matrix 2200 AC/DC offers full control for fine-detail welding and heat-sensitive materials. Whether working with mild steel, stainless, or aluminium, the integrated HF ignition system ensures reliable arc starting in all conditions. Advanced features like EASY PULSE, Pulse TIG up to 2000 Hz, and multiple AC waveforms—Square, Mixed, Sinusoidal, and Triangular—allow the operator to tailor the arc dynamics and penetration to suit the job perfectly.
The intuitive control panel includes a digital ammeter/voltmeter with preset and hold functions, as well as icons to easily toggle between TIG AC, TIG DC, Lift TIG, and MMA AC/DC modes. For even greater control, the CYCLE function allows toggling between two current values during welding—ideal for variable thickness joints.
Innovative cold welding options such as coldTACK, multi-coldTACK, and TIG RCT (Running cold.TACK) allow precise, ultra-low heat input spot welding—making the Matrix 2200 ideal for fine aluminium work or delicate stainless steel fabrication.
Additional MMA features include Hot Start, Arc Force, Anti-Sticking, and even AC mode MMA—helpful for avoiding magnetic arc blow.
