VERSOTRAC – WELDING TRACTOR
DESIGNED WITH YOU IN MIND.
We listened to welders. Then we went to the drawing board and created Versotrac – the most versatile and user-friendly tractor on the market.
We gave Versotrac an entirely new and intuitive EAC10 controller to ensure ease of use. The simplified interface includes the functions you need for tractor and other light-automation applications, making more room on the display for important functions like real-time heat input so you can easily monitor and control weld quality. The control pendant lets you change settings from a comfortable position.
Versotrac can be seamlessly set up – without the use of tools – for almost any type of welding. The new welding head makes it easy to change between SAW and GMAW welding processes. Plus, the modular components can be rebuilt, which means you are able to weld in many different applications. Use it in three- or four-wheel configurations for stability on any surface.
No matter the power source available, Versotrac will power on. It can be used with both inverter-based and conventional DC and AC power sources, including high-productivity AC. An analog interface lets you connect to analog SAW power sources, including the older generation of ESAB SAW power sources and other brands.
Versotrac is a truly modular welding tractor, allowing you to take it anywhere. Its rugged, modularized components can be disassembled into smaller units to carry into confined spaces and then reassembled in minutes. Ergonomic handles make it simpler than ever to adjust the welding path or just get going.
Versotrac is ready to take on the most demanding jobs in the toughest environments. Its robust wire feed can weld single wire up to 5 mm, with an output up to 1,000 A at 100%, for heavy-duty welding. And the available twin configuration allows for even higher productivity.
Versotrac’s advanced ergonomic wire handling system helps reduce downtime when changing wire. A new wire bobbin holder and built-in memory functions for the wire feeding system will get you back to work faster and increase your arc time.
