The Trafimet Ergoplus 36 MIG Gun (Air-Cooled) is built for demanding fabrication environments where durability, comfort and consistent welding performance are essential. Designed as part of the updated Ergoplus series, this MIG torch combines advanced ergonomic design with improved welding performance to help operators work more efficiently and comfortably.

The new ERGOPLUS handle design has been engineered around the natural positioning of the welder’s hand. The handle features a two-component construction made from durable plastic and rubber, providing a comfortable and secure grip during extended welding tasks. Rubber-textured sections are positioned on the upper and lower grip surfaces, allowing welders to maintain precise control while welding.

The handle shape follows the natural triangular positioning of the human hand, helping reduce fatigue while improving control and torch balance. This ergonomic design allows operators to maintain accurate torch positioning for better weld quality and improved productivity.

Performance upgrades have also been incorporated to enhance reliability and durability. The torch features a sealed micro-switch with IP67 protection, ensuring dependable operation even in harsh workshop environments. A flexible and durable EPDM connector improves cable flexibility while increasing resistance to wear and damage.

The torch head design helps maintain lower operating temperatures, which contributes to longer consumable life and reduced maintenance requirements. Each Ergoplus MIG gun also includes a detachable pistol grip handle, allowing operators to customise the torch configuration for improved comfort when welding in different positions.

For ease of servicing, spare parts are compatible with Binzel-style MIG consumables, ensuring that replacement parts are widely available and easy to source.
