The Master Lock No. 484 Rotating Gate Valve Lockout Device offers an effective solution for securing large gate valves, fitting valve handles between 8in (203mm) and 13in (330mm) in diameter. This lockout device surrounds the valve handle to prevent accidental operation during maintenance or repair. The patented rotating design simplifies installation in confined spaces and enables the device to nest into itself for compact storage. Constructed from durable, lightweight Zenex™ thermoplastic, the lockout device withstands harsh environments, including chemical exposure and extreme temperatures. A removable center knockout allows it to accommodate rising stem gate valves, while the device also supports multiple workers applying their personal safety padlocks for group lockout. High-visibility, write-on safety labels in English, French, and Spanish ensure clear communication and compliance with safety protocols.
