The Master Lock No. 483 Rotating Gate Valve Lockout Device offers a secure solution for locking out large gate valves, fitting valve handles ranging from 6in (152mm) to 10in (254mm) in diameter. The patented rotating design allows for quick and easy installation, even in confined spaces, and enables the device to nest into itself for compact storage. Made from lightweight, dielectric Zenex™ thermoplastic, this lockout device is both chemical-resistant and capable of withstanding extreme temperatures, making it suitable for harsh industrial environments. The center knockout can be removed to accommodate rising stem gate valves, and multiple workers can apply their personal safety padlocks for group lockout. High-visibility, write-on safety labels in English, French, and Spanish are included to identify the responsible person and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
