The Master Lock No. 482 Rotating Gate Valve Lockout Device provides an efficient lockout solution for large valve handles, fitting handles between 4in (102mm) and 6-1/2in (165mm) in diameter. Designed to prevent accidental valve openings, this device surrounds the valve handle and features a unique rotating mechanism that simplifies installation, even in confined spaces. The durable Zenex™ thermoplastic body is both lightweight and dielectric, making it ideal for use in chemical-heavy environments and extreme temperatures. For added flexibility, the device’s center knockout can be removed to accommodate rising stem gate valves. The lockout is also designed for multiple workers to apply their personal safety padlocks for group lockout, ensuring compliance with Lockout/Tagout procedures. The high-visibility safety labels in English, French, and Spanish provide clear identification for safety.
