VRD™ (Voltage Reduction Device™) – Added Safety

The K1365-28 model includes VRD™ technology, which enhances operator safety in environments where electrical shock risk may be higher.

When not welding, the VRD™ reduces open circuit voltage at the output terminals to less than 2 volts DC. Indicator lights signal whether output voltage is above or below 30 volts DC during operation.

Importantly:

✔ VRD™ does not reduce machine performance
✔ No change to welding techniques required
✔ No external modules needed
✔ Maintains ability to drive long cable runs (up to 61m / 200 ft)

This makes the DC600 suitable for humid, wet or high-risk environments.
