ESAB OK 48.04 Electrodes – E7018

ESAB OK 48.04 is a high-quality, general-purpose stick electrode suitable for welding mild and low-alloy steels. Designed for use with both AC and DC power sources, it is ideal for structural work where welds may be subject to high levels of stress. The basic coated LMA formulation ensures stable arc characteristics and smooth operation, while delivering excellent mechanical properties and low hydrogen content to reduce the risk of cracking and porosity.

This electrode is particularly suitable for welding restrained structures, thanks to its toughness and excellent impact resistance down to -40°C. It meets the demands of high-integrity welding jobs across industries including structural steel fabrication, construction, heavy equipment manufacturing, and offshore.
