ESAB OK 76.16 (E8018-B2-H4R) – Low Alloy Stick Electrodes

OK 76.16 is a basic DC low hydrogen electrode designed for welding creep-resisting steels containing 1.25% Chromium and 0.5% Molybdenum. Suitable for critical applications such as pressure vessels and piping in the petrochemical and power generation industries, this electrode delivers dependable mechanical properties, even after post-weld heat treatment (PWHT).

With a diffusible hydrogen content of less than 4.0 ml/100g and excellent resistance to porosity and cracking, OK 76.16 ensures high-quality welds under demanding conditions. It features a basic covering for improved arc stability and reduced spatter, and operates on DC+ polarity.

Certified to AWS A5.5 E8018-B2-H4R and EN ISO 3580-A E CrMo1 B 4 2 H5, it is also CE-approved and meets stringent standards including VdTÜV 10731 and NAKS. Ideal for welding 1.25Cr-0.5Mo steels used in high-temperature service.
