Comweld 316L TIG Wire (ER316L) is a high-quality, low carbon stainless steel TIG rod ideal for welding Molybdenum-bearing stainless steels, particularly grades 316 and 316L. It offers excellent corrosion resistance and strength, making it well-suited for food processing, marine, and chemical applications. This rod is also compatible with other 300 series stainless steels including 302 and 304, as well as ferritic grades like 409, 444, and 3Cr12.

Double deoxidised and copper coated for enhanced arc stability, Comweld 316L provides clean, smooth welds with low spatter. It comes in resealable 5kg tubes with a gold-coded label and stamped ends for easy identification. Whether you’re performing TIG or gas welding, this filler rod delivers consistent results across a range of stainless steel welding projects.
