The 3M™ Particulate Filter 6038 P2/P3 (HF) offers robust protection against particulates, hydrogen fluoride, nuisance-level organic vapours, and acid gas. The protective casing not only deflects sparks and splashes of liquid but also supports decontamination practices, making it suitable for various hazardous environments.
This filter achieves higher P3 protection factors only when used with a 3M Full Face Respirator; otherwise, it provides P2 protection levels when worn with a 3M Half Face Respirator. The solid top design minimizes premature caking, clogging, or soiling, while the temperature-resistant cover protects the filter media from heat, sparks, and physical damage.
